Tall Dates provides a place for tall men and their admirers to meet and interact online. Tall Dates.com began as an idea floated around various events of Tall Men Together. TMT is a networking and social group for Gay, Bi, Queer and Questioning men 6ft4 and over. TMT was started in 2001 with four members in California and grew to include over three thousand members worldwide before moving over to the Meetup.com system to automate chapter activities.

BACKGROUND
On February 14th, 2004 we launched a beta version of Tall Dates for men who love men. Unfortunately, we inadvertently deleted a lot of the profiles posted to the site while upgrading our system. We relaunched the beta site in March of 2005 and hope that our members recreate their profiles soon.

WHAT IS TALL DATES BETA?
The term 'beta' basically describes the development stage of a technical project, when many changes are still being made. In the case of Tall Dates, we have gone through several rounds of testing and made a lot of changes along the way. We feel the project is solid enough to be on the web, but we're still working on a few features like an integrated chat function. We intend to improve our service and technology. We thank you for your patience and we're certain that our staggered launch structure will help us ensure a quality service and a bug-free site.
